THIS WEEK IN 4TH GRADE

Math:  We are continuing to work on multiplication strategies.  We are currently using the traditional algorithm.  We are also learning about arrays and partial product.  Throughout the year I will spiral other concepts into our lessons for review, including place value, addition and subtraction, rounding and comparing numbers. 

***Many students do not know their addition and subtraction facts fluently!  This is a must!  Student's grades are impacted by their errors.  As a fourth grader, all students should be fluent in their multiplication facts as well.  I have provided multiplication tables and charts to your students to practice at home and use in the classroom.  Please help your child learn their facts!***

Science:  We are learning about the energy pyramid and will be moving into ecosystems!
