About Me

My husband Larry and I have been married for 28 years.  My two children, Brad and Brynley are both married.  Our rescued 11 year old Toy Poodle, Scamper, is spoiled rotten and joined our family in February of 2015!

I love to serve and help others.  That is what brought me into teaching.  I enjoyed babysitting, teaching Sunday School, and volunteering to help children whenever I could all the way through college. Seeing the growth and progress the children made in all aspects of their lives was and is very rewarding!

I taught in Illinois for 1 year.  I was a teacher and an assistant principal in Missouri for the last 26 years.  After moving to Tennessee in June of 2017,  I started my 28th year in education.  I am so blessed to be in Fayette County Public Schools at LaGrange-Moscow Elementary!

I consider it a privilege to teach children every day.  Students are entrusted to my care daily to remain safe, happy and learn!  Beyond that, I am to challenge them to do their best, to help them set and meet their goals, and guide them to become responsible members in their community.  My goal each year is to see that my students learn, build confidence in themselves and know that they are loved!

Thank you for sharing your child with me everyday!
